Our paintings are based on the traditional Kenyan way of life-seeking to capture the diverse ethnicity and vibrance of the population. They tend to focus on specific themes such as people and their places of living, the environment around them, and ofcourse wildlife.

It is important  to preserve the traditional forms of art and expression to allow us to see life through the eyes of the artist. Being immersed in traditional rituals, reliving the struggle to survive, or the joy of the new harvest - all these symbolize the emotional journey of the Kenyan people.

As you browse the site, you will notice the distinct style of the individual artists, and how magnificently they capture their thoughts on cloth, paper, or any other surface. Using natural dyes and paints, with blended hues and subtle strokes, the art comes to life and speaks volumes about its creator, and the world around them.
